Linklaters advises Verbund on the acquisition of project rights for several wind energy sites in the Hochsauerland district

Linklaters has advised VERBUND Green Power Deutschland GmbH on the acquisition of project rights for several wind power sites in the Hochsauerland district (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany). The seller of the project rights is ENOVA Value.

With this transaction, a portfolio totalling 140 megawatts in the Hochsauerland district has been transferred to VERBUND Green Power Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of the publicly listed VERBUND AG, headquartered in Vienna. VERBUND will be responsible for further development, implementation, and long-term operation of the projects. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027.
