Linklaters advises Schaeffler on the successful placement of notes with a volume of € 750 million

Linklaters advised Schaeffler AG on the successful placement of notes with a volume of € 750 million to institutional investors. The notes bear interest at an interest rate of 4.5 per cent per annum and mature in May 2032.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate and financing purposes.

The Linklaters team was led by Alexander Schlee (Partner) and Martin Rojahn (Counsel, both Capital Markets, Frankfurt). Other team members included Catrin Retzmann and Tabea Meißner (both Associate, Capital Markets, Frankfurt).

The Linklaters team led by Alexander Schlee regularly advises Schaeffler AG on debt financings, most recently in April 2025 on the successful placement of notes with a volume of € 1.15 billion and in 2024 on the issuance of notes with a volume of € 1.1 billion to refinance the acquisition of Vitesco shares.
